Cambodia

Empowering local health workers with skills and tools to keep mothers and babies safe during pregnancy and childbirth.

EveryMum works to end preventable maternal death and injury in low-resource settings by training midwives and doctors, providing essential medical equipment, and strengthening local health systems. With 25 years of experience in Cambodia, their programs improve maternal care, embed excellence in healthcare, and connect marginalised communities to lifesaving support.

What they’re pitching for…

EveryMum is seeking funding to expand its lifesaving ultrasound program to two additional rural and remote health centres in Cambodia, where access to early detection during pregnancy can transform pregnancy outcomes. The project will equip and mentor local midwives to use ultrasound in everyday practice, connecting more mothers to antenatal care and enabling the early detection of high-risk conditions. By strengthening maternal healthcare for thousands of families, this investment will save lives, empower health workers, and build lasting capacity within Cambodia’s public health system.
